Tip for Gaining Trust

1. Approach the bible with an open mind. (Matt 11:25)

2. Believe that God will reveal truth as you search His word with all of your heart
(Jn 8:32, Jer 29:13)

3. Continually pray for the guidance of the holy sprit. God promises the Sprit will lead us into truth.(Jn. 16:13)

4. Attempt to read as many Bible passage on a given subject as possible. Do not build a Bible doctrine on a single text (Isa. 28:9,10)

5. Accept the Bible as Gods word revealing truth to you (2peter. 1:21; jn 17:17)

6. Be willing to make any changes from past ways of thinking you will never know truth
unless you are willing to live the truth (Jn. 7:17)

7. Be willing to surrender your own ideas to the truth of God’s word. (Prov 14:12)

8. Do not listen to the voices of any counsellor who attempts to dissuade you from doing what the bible clearly teaches (Prov. 19:27)

9. All truth leads us closer to Jesus who is the way, the truth and he life. Seek Jesus in every subject you are studying. Ask “How can this topic lead me closer to Jesus?" (Jn 14:6)
