Resistance

Resistance training is the name that is used to cover all types of “Strength” or “Weight Training” programs.
These are all weight bearing exercises that stress and breakdown your peripheral muscles. You can use your
body or any external resistance device (dumbbells, jug of water or gym equipment).

Benefits of Resistance Training:
Lifts and tone the body
Increases bone density
Helps against Osteoporosis & improve posture
Increases your metabolism for 24hr after a training bout.
1 lbs. of muscle burns 7 –8 lbs. of fat per year.
* Women don’t have enough Testosterone to Bulk Up

Total Body Workout ( No equipment, just your body)
2-3 days a week, use your body weight
2-3 set of 10 –15 reps
1. Push- ups
2. Sit-ups
3. Squats (chair)
4. Pull-ups
5. Heel Raises

3 Day Dumbbell Workout
